the only time we see latinx people in media is either as drug dealers, gang members, laborers, maids, and living in the ghetto

this also applies to south asians, east asians, and native americans

just because a show has black and white people doesn’t make it diverse. there are more than two ethnicities

funny how people keep reblogging the version without the last part huh

This is so true.

I hate how shows have the one token black friend in a group of like 15+ white people.

And how come in groups it’s always like 3 white people+1 black person????

You could literally have diverse rich friendship groups of people. Seriously folks!!!

PUT MORE POC IN THE MEDIA!!!! Not just BLACK POC but ALL POC!

You can make points about representation without throwing black people under the bus. Don’t even get me started on how latinx programming depicts black people.

For some reason other POC like to push the myth that black people get special treatment or something

This why poc solidarity is a myth because it’s sometype of natural instinct to somehow put black people in a conversation about latinx representation

And also black latinx ppl exist.

This idea that Black people are somehow represented in media in the same degree as white people without antiblack storylines or without harmful stereotypes is laughable and, once again pushes the narrative that hyper-visibility equals privilege. This whole post reeks of antiblackness, lads.

You worded it so much better than me!

I was going to come on and say the same thing. Leave us tf alone. The way non-black latinx always have some bitter way of throwing us into the mix when talking about wanting representation for themselves always reeks that they believe they deserve better representation more than black people. And the way they treat black latinx in they media doesnt convince me otherwise. Everyone should be represented. However, it is not black folk responsibility to nor should we fight to include the same groups that always wanna step on us with their antiblack boot to get where they want to be. Don’t get me started on the colorism where these same groups want representation and can’t put anyone darker than a paper bag in their films unless they a villain. Keep our names out your fight unless you willing to recognize Afro-Latinx.

I was with it for the first three posts but you had to ruin it by being antiblack 🙄

Of the Texts of Shapeshifting and Genderous Sorts

On the Language of Transitional Forms, a slender volume that provides the basis for a notable school of shapeshifting and genderous witches in Creation

It documents the motion of being, and the ways in which one thing in motion may become as another

This creational book has a void-aspected companion titled On the Interpretation of Absent Figures

Unlike it’s sibling, this book focuses on the transformations of formless things and on their educing, showing instead that what is was always already as something else

This second book is not illegal per se, but it is common wisdom that the Interpretation is to be avoided until one has mastered the Language. It’s popularity in certain circles of summoners has also given it a degree of not-unwarrented notoriety

Item: spray-on Full Regalia. Activating a bottle of this potion and bathing in its mist leaves a creature wearing a fine set of fashionable formalwear. At the end of three hours, the regalia begins to turn gelatinous and oily, slowly dissolving back into liquid over the course of the next hour. Each bottle contains enough to make one set of clothes for one creature.
